I LOVE music so much. I also like music from nearly every genre. But, there are some songs that I can listen to over and over and over without getting tired of them. Here are ten:
1. "Naive" by Andy Grammer. My kids hate that I love him, but all of his music is so uplifting.
2. "Good Riddance" or "Time of My Life" by Green Day. Green Day is a punk band. I like many of their songs but this is my favorite. I like that it has two names. Also, I really want it sung at my funeral.
3. "For the Beauty of the Earth" by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and arranged by John Rutter. I think it is absolutely beautiful. .
4. "Gabriel's Oboe" by Ennio Morricone. It is the main theme from the movie The Mission. When I worked for Larry Thompson I listened to this music each day. I watched the move and it is absolutely beautiful but so very, very, very sad.
5. "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" by James Taylor. Really any music by James Taylor is wonderful.
6. "If You Are Going Through Hell" by Rodney Atkins. It is such a fun song with such a great message. You just can't give up.
7. "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. I have always liked this song, but after watching the movie I developed an even greater appreciation for it. Also, I know every word and can sing it without music - so can my family. It is so much fun.
8. "This Is The Christ" by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It is just perfect. Enough said.
9. "For Good" by Kristin Chenoweth from the musical "Wicked." I think of so many friends when I hear this song. I think it may be my most favorite of all time.
10. "Knee Deep" by The Zac Brown Band and Jimmie Buffet. It is such a carefree song. It just makes me happy and I can't help sing to it every single time.
There are so many more. I might have to make a completely new list on another day..
