Where did your story take a sudden turn?

When I entered seventh grade, I took a class at school that was all about writing checks, balancing checkbooks, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. To say I loved it would be a tremendous understatement. I would have taken that class every semester of my junior high experience if they had let me. They wouldn't. In high school I was thrilled to find the business department. I took EVERY business class available. My love was accounting. I decided I was definitely going to become an accountant. I wanted to finish my undergraduate work by 21 years old, go on a mission, and then work on my Masters of Accounting while working on Wall Street in New York City. That was the plan. I thought it fit me perfectly. It sounded adventurous. It is exactly what I planned out. I loved my accounting and economics classes my first semester. But, then things changed when I went on my first date with Trent. Within a few weeks I knew that the plan was about to change. It did! Those accoutning classes in my second year were not interesting. I didn't like it. I turned to education. Trent was the catalyst for change in this fantastic life I have lived. It hasn't always been easy. It hasn't always been fun. But, the turn that brought us together in this life we have was exactly for me!
